About the event
Janessa Robinson helped create policy change for small-holder famers across the world, build child-centered communities through human-centered design, and now ignites innovation through the software industry.
Alongside her career in marketing, Janessa has written and published journalistic articles in award-winning and leading publications including The Guardian, Fast Company, EBONY, NAACP’s The Crisis Magazine, NewsBreak, BuzzFeed and Chopra Global. Her photos are published in Fast Company, U.S. News World & Report, Curbed, and NewsBreak. Her film work was featured in Ava Duvernay's 2019 TIME Optimist Issue.
Janessa holds a Bachelors of Arts in Communication with a minor in Philosophy from Tulane University.
