About the event

Ralph M. Paulk is a writer and spoken word poet from Inkster, Michigan, raised in a home that valued reading, storytelling, and creative expression. His journey began with writing rap lyrics in high school and evolved into spoken word poetry during his college years, where he also served in a leadership role within a campus poetry organization, facilitating workshops, open mic nights, poetry slams, and volunteer initiatives, including the publication of the group’s inaugural poetry collection. Alongside his creative work, Ralph has built a successful professional career in engineering, business, and technology, holding leadership roles within a global tech organization. Deeply committed to youth development, he continues to mentor and inspire young people through educational and creative programs, helping them build confidence, find their voice, and express their stories through the written word.
